As a college student in New York, Lee Schneiderman found he had more interest in pursuing his apprenticeship in wood flooring than pursuing the "dismal" science of economics. Now twenty years later as the economics degree gathers dust he is achieving notoriety in the Pacific Northwest through his burgeoning business The Wood Flooring Expert, Inc.

Lee designs intricate geometric patterns using different combinations of woods and colors to achieve artistic results for floors as well as walls. Some of his handiwork appears in many luxurious homes on Long Island and in New York City. He has done work in the homes of the rich and famous. Athletes and gymnasts work out on his basketball and aerobics floors.

Upon moving to Oregon, Lee expanded his business. He is committed to high quality and skillful craftsmanship and has personally trained his assitants. Lee uses only the highest quality finishes, with the correct material matching the wood and the environment, to give long lasting results and customer satisfaction.
